Tourmoo provides a software-as-a-service platform that enables travel businesses ("Clients") to create and manage their own travel booking websites for their end customers ("End Users").

We collect several different types of information from our Clients for various purposes to provide and improve our service:

Client Account Data

Includes business name, contact person name, email address, phone number, billing address, and account credentials.

Billing Information

Includes payment method details, transaction history, invoicing information, and subscription details.

Platform Usage Data

Includes information about how you use our platform, feature usage, login activity, and system metrics.

Client Website Configuration

Includes settings, preferences, customizations, and content you create within your travel booking website.

Technical Data

Includes IP address, browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system, and device information.

Marketing Preferences

Includes your preferences in receiving marketing communications from us and our third parties.

How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • To set up and manage your Client account
  • To provide and maintain our SaaS platform
  • To process and complete transactions, and send related information including confirmation and invoices
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests or inquiries
  • To improve our platform and develop new features
  • To send administrative information, such as updates to our terms, conditions, and policies
  • To monitor platform usage and ensure compliance with our terms

Client End-User Data

As a SaaS provider, we process End-User data on behalf of our Clients. This section explains our role and responsibilities regarding this data:

  • We act as a data processor for any End-User data collected through your travel booking website
  • You (the Client) remain the data controller for your End-User data and are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents and providing appropriate privacy notices
  • We will only process End-User data in accordance with your instructions and as necessary to provide our services
  • We do not own, control, or direct the use of End-User data, and will only access it as reasonably necessary to provide our services
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of End-User data complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Upon termination of your subscription, we will return or delete End-User data in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and customer support
  • Professional advisers including lawyers, auditors, and insurers
  • Regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, and other governmental bodies when required by law
  • Business partners who provide services integrated with our platform, but only with your consent
  • Potential buyers or investors in the event of a business transaction like a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

International Transfers
